Symptom

After deleting a Disk Safe, every task has a warning/alert during the "Storage Cache Check" because it cannot locate the folder where the Disk Safe was originally stored. Tasks attempt to use the deleted Disk Safe. Running any Policy will generate alerts.

To get rid of the error, do either of the following:

  • Create an empty folder for the path the Disk Safe was originally created in.
  • Restart the CDP Server and it will clean up the outdated reference to the deleted Disk Safe folder.

Cause

The issue is caused by storage cache check warnings for a nonexistent path of a deleted Disk Safe.

Resolution

The issue has been corrected in CDP 4.2.0.
