Follow the instructions below to check the connection between the CDP Agent and the Backup Manager.
1. In the Main Menu, click Protected Machines. The Protected Machines page displays a list of all existing machines.

2. To check the connection, select Test Agent Connection in the Actions menu for the corresponding machine in the list.
3. The Communicating with Agent window displays. Wait a moment while the test communicates with the CDP Agent.
If the communication succeeds, a success message displays. Click OK to close the Communicating with Agent window.
