Compression

Compression is the reduction in size of data in order to save disk space or transmission time.


Initial Replica

The first Recovery Point containing all of your Control Panel user account data at the moment of time when the initial replication was started. Subsequent Recovery Points only contain changed data.


Replication Frequency

Recurrence selected by the Administrator while scheduling the replication (backup) of the Hosting Control Panel. The following frequencies can be set: On Demand, Minutely, Hourly, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly.


Recovery Point Retention

The rules that define how many Recovery Points to keep.


Recovery Point

A Recovery Point is a replicated (backed-up) Control Panel account. A Recovery Point represents the state of your Control Panel user account at a particular point in time.


Replication

The operation of saving recent changes to your Control Panel user account. Each replication creates a point-in-time image (a Recovery Point).
