Symptom

When skip-innodb is used in my.cnf, the "Test Connection" button fails in the database restore wizard.

It fails with this error:

Failed to connect to database Failed to test database connection Your InnoDB data files and log files reside on two different file systems. This is an unsupported configuration: /ib_logfile0, /ib_logfile1, /var/lib/mysql//

Removing the skip-innodb line from my.cnf allows the test to complete successfully.

Resolution

The issue has been corrected in CDP 4.0.0.
